CSA Pickup Reminder Thurs 18 & Fri 19 RETURN BOXES ON PICKUP THANKS!

Posted 1/16/2018 10:42am by Jill Rendleman.

CSA pickup reminder this week!  Same times same places.  We will be inside at the Co-op.  Today is so cold we had to use hot water to open the doors of the high tunnels.  All the plants look happy inside.....the outside crops are just so blasted by the cold.  Look for some of the last winter squash, fennel, lettuce, and an herb this week.  Time for good soups and greens to ward off the flu bugs.  Noodles, parsley and mozzarella make a wonderful winter meal as does roasted butternut squash with a few pecans.  Lots of baby lettuces and greens ready to plant if the ground thaws soon. Thanks for all your understanding and support this winter!  Hope you found good use for the carrots and mushrooms from last share.....they tasted so good!  I will post a few fennel recipes on our website.
