CSA Pickup Reminder Thursday Feb 14th and Marion Friday Feb 15th

Posted 2/14/2019 8:09am by Jill Rendleman.

Happy Valentines!  Members will enjoy fresh spinach and other delectable greens this week, share with someone special.  We carry on the tradition of providing you products from the best of local Southern Illinois.  Last week members were introduced to local honey from Heartland Honey.  Using local honey is very good in the spring for those with allergies....local bees make the difference.   Also included in your share NON GMO rice grown locally.   We are so lucky to have so many diverse growers.  This week we will include freshly shelled pecans from Marietta Gerler.  Store them in the fridge to keep them fresh.  They are a great addition to a fresh spinach or kale salad.  Sadly, last week was the final week for mushrooms.  Let me know if you want extra.......Flyway Farms Mike comes by the farm once a week.
