CSA Share Information

All Seasons Farm provides our CSA members with nutritionally dense produce known for exceptional taste and quality.  Heirloom varieties are our speciality and weekly member boxes contain all of the top ten most wanted veggies and fruits along with some new ones to try.  Our produce is grown, harvested, packed, and cooled using methods that insure great member shares each and every week.  Members will also find, from time to time, goods from local producers of fruits and vegetables as well as honey, mushrooms, noodles, and breads.  Our deliveries are on time and consistent each week of your membership.   Members expect to get weekly pickup reminders as well as recipes and prep ideas.

Members have a lot of options to choose from depending on the size of your household, season of the year, brown eggs or mushrooms or not, how to make payment, and how you want your food delivered. Seasons and Discounts

Our CSA runs all year long, so you never have to go without Certified Organic farm fresh produce.

Sign up anytime for any of our seasons.  Our Fall-Winter Season is approximately 20-25 weeks October-February and our Spring-Summer Season is approximately 25 weeks during April-September.  We take a 2-3 week break between each season depending on weather conditions.  A 3% discount is taken for either season if you pay in full prior to March 1 (for Spring) or prior to Oct 1 (for Fall).  An additional 3% discount is taken if you buy both share seasons together.  Total savings for payment in full and buying both seasons is significant.     Discounts are taken during checkout.

Share Size:

This is a personal choice based upon how much fresh food your stomach demands weekly!  A Full Share is sized for 2 adults and 1-2 children.....it is also the best size for a couple of vegertarians or lovers of veggies.  The Full Share contains more than two times the amount of produce in the Half Share.  It is the most economical share value.   A Half Share is sized for 1-2 adults or one adult and one child...it is also the best size for a single vegetarian or veggie lover.

Delivery Options:

Shares can be picked up at the Neighborhood Co-op, at the Town Square Market, at the CrossFit parking lot in Marion, or on our farm located on Hwy 51 about 10 minutes south of the SIU Arena or 10 minutes north of Rt146 and Hwy 51 in Anna.  We also offer at home delivery for an additional charge of $4.00 per week to city limits of Carbondale, Anna, Makanda, Cobden, Alto Pass, and Marion.   If you live outside those areas, give us a call and we will see if we can arrange something for you.

Sign-up: Sign-up conveniently using our online sign-up system. Click here to start!

Payment Options:   Online or by Phone or by Check

When you sign up online, you will be paying through a widely used and secure service called Paypal.  Paypal allows you to pay with your credit card, your debit card, or your bank account.  You do not have to have a Paypal account to use Paypal.  Paypal has an option to "pay later" which is a way to spread the cost of your CSA over time.   Early payment and combined payment discounts are big, so paying in full early and/or buying both seasons at once is a great reason to pay with Paypal or your credit card through Paypal.  Another option is over the phone payment by calling farmer jill 618 308 0217 with your credit or debit card information.  Payment by check is another option.  You must pay at least 33% down to start your membership, the remaining payment must be made within 8 weeks of the season start or another payment arrangement may be made by calling jill at 618 308 0217.

Share Types:

Egg Share:  Brown egg shares are from pasture run, no hormone, spray, or antibiotic fed layer hens.  Our eggs have deep orange yolks and clear yolks and have exceptional taste.  Egg shares are 25 weeks long with the same start and end dates as the CSA membership seasons.  Members can get one half dozen or a full dozen each week.   Egg shares are only available to CSA produce share members.

Spring/Summer Share

Spring/Summer are the height of traditionally awesome fresh vegetables and fruit in Southern Illinois.  Our early growing season, rolling hills, and fresh spring water make this a wonderful area for growing the sweetist crunchiest produce ever.  With the growing tools of experience and season extension, we harvest our spring crops at the earliest possible date, and extend the harvest of great summer crops like tomatoes well past the normal harvest season.

Your Spring/Summer Share will contain the makings of great salads all week as well as a number of other top ten veggies including heirloom varieties choosen for taste and texture and picked fresh at the top of nutritional value....including  spinach, cherry tomatoes, tomatoes, green peppers, corn, potatoes, onions, cucumbers, carrots, basil, other herbs, zucchinni, brocolli, and other great stuff! This share runs April - September.

Fall/Winter Share

Fall/Winter is truly the best time to eat and grow fresh veggies in Southern Illinois!  Winter vegetables are the sweetest you will taste all year because in the winter plants turn starch into lots of natural sugars! There is nothing like fresh vegetables picked at their highest nutrient content to blow away the winter blues! We use rolling high tunnels to get an early start on the "new spring"...known as Fall/Winter... to extend the harvest season on summer crops and to protect the quality of Fall/Winter crops.  Your Fall/Winter Share contains all the makings of great salads all week with lots of lettuce and spinach...in addition... sweet winter carrots, late season tomatoes, radishes, winter squash, fennel, celery, potatoes, herbs, maybe a few pumpkins and turnips...and other interesting winter veggies. This share runs from October - March.
